About NDN Impact

“Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.”  – Chief Seattle, 1854

“They just keep coming, but that’s what keeps me going.” – Jim Thorpe

After two years of a blogging break, NDN Impact is back with a new look, goal, and clientele! By focusing on Indigenous people’s cultural traditions, this blog looks to provide exciting and interesting connections of those traditions to a person’s current physical, mental and spiritual health.

NDN Impact’s goal is to motivate people of all ages, fitness levels, and backgrounds to get moving and be mindful of their lifestyle choices. With a unique focus on Native American and Indigenous traditions, the hope is to become an inspiring resource for any individual looking to lead a more sustainable, healthy, and traditional daily life.

NDN Impact is also a platform for Native American and Indigenous athletes and competitors who want to use traditional nutrition and fitness methods for daily life and competition preparations. Those of you who are interested in Indigenous group and individual coaching (in-person and online), nutritional ideas, motivation help and fitness collaborations, this is the site for you!

Although this site will primarily focus on Native American and Indigenous health and traditions, there will also be some coverage on issues neglected by the mainstream media, international Indigenous People and intelligent opinion sharing on a variety of Native American subject.

In today’s society Native issues have been highly overlooked by the media. The most publicized news stories are those about casino deals and governmental benefits from Native plights. It is my belief that ALL stories should be told if they involve the people in this country.
